FW legion armour Mk sets

Recommended Posts

Approximately 12-18months ago (timeframe may be incorrect), FW re-released the different basic legion armour marks, the main change being the change to the bolter arms to match the new trend of bolters with hands. At the time, I believe they modified some of the marks slightly, mainly the Mk IV and Mk VI to make the legs slightly less spindly. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Mk II Crusade armour had been changed at all in terms of proportions? The poses available seem the same but I can't tell about the thickness of the legs in particular from the photos on the website. Thanks

The Assault Squad and Apothecary have the original pre legion style legs where the thighs are thinner. The Despoilers and Crusade Armour have the new legion style legs.

There were two sets of Legion, the first had the right hand attached to the right army (these were the ones from the 30 marine bundle), the second has no right hand (and now attached to the weapon), The second version  sets came out around the time of Calth. The second version is pretty much the same as the first version of legion armour, with the main difference being that the second version solder pad rims are thicker. For both sets of legion marines the legs appear the same.
