Skitarii Sicarian conversion - ideas needed!

How can I represent the dunestrider people without using the actual models? My intent is to use Eisenkern troopers for the Vanguard/Rangers but not sure on how to model the Sicarians without being almost full robots. Jump packs?

 

Main theme is hi-tech desert army battlemech style. So grav/speeder/walker/jet ideas are very welcome :)

Maybe give them similar looking swords, and use sort of gas mask like heads? Giving them some sort of augmetic legs would be good for some height too.

My mistake, didn't read carefully (thought you meant you wanted to convert the Eisenkern troops to Sicarians). How about a monowheel bike with various weapon attachments to symbolize the Sicarian Wargear.
