Freakiq
Finally moved into a bigger apartment where I can fit a painting desk so i celebrated by painting up two test models for some Sons of Horus. I've had these two undercoated for months now and I thought I'd finally get this force started. I think I used Lupercal Green with a zenitihal Sons of Horus Green as a base but I'm not 100% certain so I'll have to make a third test model tomorrow to figure out the exact ratios. I've liked a lot of the greener Sons of Horus I've seen but haven't been able to make it work for me so this is as close as I think I'm going to get. Does this color read as Sons of Horus or are they too minty? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/332180-freakiqs-sons-of-horus/ Share on other sites
bloodhound23
I don't think they're too minty. I think they look the right sort of grey-green, in fact. Nice work. Rangaman
I can see why you would think they look a bit minty, it looks like you may have mixed some white in there for a last highlight. I don't think they look bad at all man, nice and dark.
