garetheves Posted April 6, 2017 Share Posted April 6, 2017 Been watching some highlights from Adepticon and a few other North American conventions and its whetted my appetite to go to one but there don't seem to be many in the UK. fisheyedbunny Posted April 18, 2017 Share Posted April 18, 2017 Was at SALUTE a few years ago, biggest and best in the UK but a bit of a trek down south of me. If you are in Scotland you can check out Carronade in Falkirk, Claymore in Edinburgh, SKELP and TARGE are both up near Forfar area if I remember right. Wappinshaw in Glasgow isn't going ahead this year. All of these are no where near the scale of Gencon, Adepticon and the Scottish ones are no where near as big as SALUTE. Down south you have Vapnartak in York, Phalanx in St Helens, Border Reiver in Newcastle, Colours in Newbury, Fiasco in Leeds and Warfare in Reading. Ben who is organising it has wanted to push towards an Acon style thing since his visit a few years ago, now this is only the first year so who knows exactly how it's going to go but there will be AoS, 40k and Heresy events going on and he has booked the venue for 3 years so he is committed.Look here for more info: https://bloodandglory.baddice.co.uk/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
