WARZONE: CATONICA - Chaos Space Bikes of Doom

I think I jumped the gun a little bit with my hyper glamour photo shoot on the weekend. I have just finished adding the cables and it was super easy and super quick. Really feeling validated so I did another round of photos :)

 

Front, back, left side, right side, inside out and finally the lord. I have a few ideas about converting the front forks or maybe the bolters on the front. As I get closer to the end I want to use the skeleton or maybe the zombie sprue to kitbash them a bit.

Man you're putting a lot of work into those bikes and it shows. They look great, I like all the little touches that aren't instantly noticeable such as the Chainsword arm etc.

 

Would love to see you work on some Terminators.

Bio - thanks for the feedback matey, I appreciate it. I have 5 Chaos terminators, but I'm not really sure how I want to convert or embellish them. I feel they are pretty ok as they are. I might do a hood/cowling and maybe some rag-tag cloaks/capes etc. I really can't puzzle out a way to legitimately convert them to the same level as my troops or bikers.

It's really difficult to stay motivated about the terminators seeing as there are so many other (better) options available. The Grave Wardens, Death Shrouds, Cataphractii etc etc. Gamesworkshop will soon be releasing the Death Guard and hopefully the contents of the new box game will have something to appease me, and strike the balance I'm looking for.

I need to source some basic heads then I may sculpt some hoodies and cowlings for them, that should get the ball rolling.

 

@ Pearson - thanks man. I've totally been fluking my way through this one, considering how well all the different sizes plastic tube and bits keep lining up for me. I guess the last 6 months of forethought have paid off for me :)

I might thinker around with the termies. I'm really happy with the bikes and want to continue applying on job/trick to them all simultaneously. I thought I might focus on one and try to finish him up to see how things will look, but there are just too many more little jobs that need doing. And I like working on them as a group as the ideas tend to spill over and feed into one another.
