I know what I like in a B&C post, but feel free to post what you were after in mine! Do you want more pics of squads, more painting, battle reports, lore? Let me know here! I'm working on some unique stuff too but good things take time Painted models Getting there about as fast as a glacier XD Painted models and lore for me! Is your unique stuff a secret project, or can you share some details with us? I'm working on presenting battles in a more narrative way, trying to decide if I can allocate time in my life to working on audio or visual or something interactive to make the battle reports more engaging. Castellan Cynebald Posted May 16, 2017 Author Share Posted May 16, 2017 Brothers, we stand on the precipice of an interesting future with the birth of the Primaris Marines, I feel like a step towards Marines being more aligned with their lore being tougher is a great idea, it's also daunting to see where we as Black Templars players will go with the new models. I am looking forward to seeing in eighth edition with ya'll and you can be sure the Orphean Crusade will continue with tabards, chainswords and chains galore! Sorry I haven't posted much actual content but I've been working more on getting models painted and when I get more to the tabletop I'll post 'em! I guess if any of you have doubts around GW's changes we can still as a community band together and make our favourite part of the hobby our own! (Surely that favourite part is the oodles of ZEAL!) It might also be good to take a break and see where GW takes us. I guess if any of you have doubts around GW's changes we can still as a community band together and make our favourite part of the hobby our own! (Surely that favourite part is the oodles of ZEAL!) I've already dealt with the unpleasant 'shock' with the new Marines and for the time being am not planning to include any in my force. I have also erred in judgement (or not at all, your choice) and purchased armoured reinforcements in the form of another Land Raider Crusader and a Baneblade. I just can't wait to field my whole army and the way factions work seems to let the Orphean Crusade be more joined than ever before! The Einhard will wreak a fiery crusade and the brave new millennium will usher in acts that Sigismund and Dorn would be proud of! I guess now I have to see the Forge World Indices and the Codices before I can confirm that running Imperium keyword is the way to progress... Imagine if someone took the impossible task to collect and paint all Black Templars out there... which unlike Ultramarines are not limited to 1000... now that would be an Eternal Crusade.... I haven't posted in a while due to some real world crusades (new job etc) but I should post something soon. The Orphean Crusade has expanded HEAPS. Yet hardly any is still painted. (I'm so sorry.) Also I've got some battle reports coming. Just wanted to ask too, if I wanted to start posting as one large force (BT, Krieg, Tempestus, Custards etc) should I keep using this topic or just focus on the BT side of the army? Actually i have some supporting Guard elements to my crusade which need painting at some point or other... Will probably be playing a few games too so might do a short video of the army in action! Might do a bit of a soup list with my new Custodes and Generation Kill themed Tempestus escorting an Inquisitor with the Black Templars as the main line force!
