Krimson Kodiaks (iron hands succ.) True-Scale WIP

This is my DIY Iron Hands successors chapter, the Krimson Kodiaks. 

 

Overall plan here is to have everything done and true-scale and leave no model unconverted.

 

Im starting with my scouts, I should have 25 by the time its all said and done.

 

Next is likely their transports then I will move onto power armor.

 

 

This is a group shot of the first 15, youll have to look in the gallery to see the uncut image

some of the camo-cloak scouts are missing their cloaks and most are missing their shoulder pads.

 

 

Parts are Tempestus Scion legs, space marine torso, random space marine cyborg bits, some space wolf head, chaos marauder heads, dark angel heads, and a bunch of 3rd party bits from Anvil, and puppets war mostly.

 

 

You cant quite tell yet, but they are intended to be american natives. I may or may not at spears and less modern knives.

Moving on to power armor and painting. id really like some C&C on these. They are just green-stuffed together at the moment. The smaller one is my 2nd try, the larger one is my 3rd attempt. I need to shorten that cyborg-leg. These will be "count-as" terminators

Looking great man. Not sure why you didn't get any feedback first time round? Possibly just pic quality, as its not super easy to tell what's happening in some of them, but the quality itself looks solid :tu:

 

The CA Termis look decent yeh, what's the justification there fluff wise? They're posed a little stiffly at present I'd say, perhaps a little more movement?

Nice work, I really like the scouts you'e made. 

 

I like the CA terminators, they certainly have the bulk, but I agree the arm poses make them look a little stiff.

Oh feedback!! Thank you. The pose on the CA terminator isn't perminate, I just mocked that up with some green-stuff so I could see how well everything fits together. There will be a lot more action when I get a chance to redo him.

 

I've got 30 of those scouts. Once I finish the last one I'll take some time and get better pictures.

 

Fluff for the "chapter" is still in the air, but roughly I want them to be renegades from several chapters that joined up with a renegade forge-world. They only have what they stole from their original chapter or what they've stolen off space marines, that were sent to bring them back in line, so their tech-marines and tech-priest repurpose the gear so that it can fulfil different battle-field roles.

 

They have rebelled on the grounds that they want the right to create and employ Artifical Intelligence. On related note thier recrutes are full-grown adult males that they implant a miss-mash of stolen organs into along with other forms of augmentation. Each one is different, i.e. some have 3 hearts but don't yet have a multi-lung.
