The pad looks fantastic - what did you use for the studs?

 

Shame that set is OOP, it was a lovely source of bits.  Personally, I wouldn’t bother converting the backpack, I think they look fine without the coils on top, doesn’t detract from the mk vi look as long as you have the helmet and pads right.

Looking great - thanks for sharing that vid, I'll have to grab some of these - I'll be converting my current stock of Mk7+ marines to heresy era BA so need some studs! I might try 1.5mm though, I think that's closer to the size of the Mk6 ones and they look a bit more knobbly.

 

Have you managed to user the cerberus in games yet? They look like they might be really good in HH2.0, and usable in 2000pts!

Working on some MkIVs this month from the BaC box. Likely just going with a Sergeant and some bolter Marines.

Rapier and HSS WIP

 

Been assured the Rapier has changed allegiance  and this will get me to three quad mortars total. Needs to be broken apart to paint the insides though...

 

As for the Marines, I try to make my army compatible for both systems and I have some heavy flamers knocking around. These four will be Mk IV (but with blue helmets) and the fifth model is already built in Mk VII (so will be the Sergeant in Artificer Armour). Mainly doing it because I have the bits and it will look cool tbh. I need to source some hands from the Mk IV bolt guns as the heavy flamers don't have them. I don't think they require any further squad upgrades and I'm sure I'll find a use for them somewhere...
