Recon Marines WIP

 

Making a push on these this month. For the tenth model should I need one, I'll either use my BA Telion or BA Naaman conversion for now.

All nine complete with the necessary repairs (they were second hand). If I need a tenth, I'm going to use my Telion conversion as the Artificer Sergeant (for now anyway).

• Praetor and Terminators in Land Raider. Apothecaries go with the Tacticals and Despoilers
• I know it's not really that attuned (playing WYSIWYG after all), but it should be fun to try out (not played this way before)

I never liked, or used, that old searchlight but it looks really good mounted sideways on the turret like that.

When I was younger, I used to have it on the chassis and it never looked right. I certainly know what you mean though and this seemed the best solution

I did that initially also - I then realise my annihilator turret couldn't turn at all so I cut it off

Cheers. It's actually how I do my Techmarines...

In the Joleverse, artificer armour is gold, however, Techmarines are a metallic red - resulting in my Techmarines having a base of gold and the Techmarine enhancements being in metallic red. 

The main thing is, is works and it a little bit different from everything else to make them stand out. My Mephiston is the same, but that one takes some getting used to

I acquired an early 3rd edition Baal Predator which I was able to revive and magnetise the turret weapons to exchange between the assault cannon and (a solution for) the flamestorm cannon options.

Tarantula, Breacher, LI Rhino WIPs

 

Twin lascannon and twin heavy bolter Tarantulas, freebie LI Rhino, and some upgrades to turn some 40k Vanguard Veterans (that I made using OOP FW Boarding Shields) into Breachers. Will aim to purchase the final five models at some point...

First half of a Breacher Squad finished (they can also be used as something else in a future setting...) along with the store freebie LI Rhino which I wanted to test my scheme on.

Sorry mate, I didn't see this. The shields are fixed in place, whilst the weapons are magnetised on the shoulder. There is one gun that's also magnetised on the wrist in case I want to use a different gun somewhere down the line.
