Edit: Added new pics

Great stuff so far guys, I'll be following this thread with great anticipation.

I'll be able to get some photos up within the next week or so. I really hate the mk IV style helmets, so I've done a headswap with the FW DA helmets and I think they look great!

The sinister look of the helmets really suits some of the primaris poses: because a lot of the heads are tilted forward, there's this sneering, contemptuous look to them that feels awesome.

Mmmm checkers.

What'd you do to get that green, Iron?

It's a basecoat of caliban green, then highlight of airbrush with warpstone and caliban together, then just warpstone then just scorpion green (old gw one) with white grey mix. I then gloss varnish, wash with nuln oil gloss, then matte varnish. :) highlight with scorpion only after all that.

I want to get on that level with my airbrushing. I'm having trouble figuring out what colors to use (gray space marines, Vallejo paints), and how much is enough

Experiment and keep trying to learn the airbrush!

Wow there are some great conversions out there. I almost feel like I wish I pushed it a bit harder on my gravis dude.

Current WIP.

That is without a doubt the sexiest Primaris Dark Angel I've seen so far. It seems unlikely I'll see anything better anytime soon.
