Made a start on actually getting some paint on my Primaris Novamarines. Here's some WIP shots of the Captain and Lieutenant:

The black recess wash always looks messy on these guys, but worth it once tidied up.

Really enjoying the quartered scheme. These guys may well form the basis of this years Armies on Parade entry.

Finally got round to spending more time with the Novamarines, so have made some progress on the Captain.

Still quite a bit of highlighting to do:

Need to start work on some battleline troops next.

C&C is, as always, appreciated!

Cheers,

Nice choice. From quirisoty sake, may I ask why you chose to paint their colour scheme?

I did a Novamarines force a few years back now, so when I was given one to paint for the local store, it had to be done!

Very nice indeed!

I like how the backpacks are the opposite of the main body scheme

I'm torn between doing my Primaris as Novamrines or Eagle Warriors and you've helped me decide

Please someone do Eagle Warriors though, as they are also too cool for school

Loving this paint scheme! Amazingly crisp and precise on the joins. Keep up the great work!

Lovely work.

Excellent. This is easily one of my favourite logs running right now.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the kind comments.

Little bit more done over the weekend, most assembling and adding Novamarines chapter pads, but also a little but more work done on the first Lieutenant:

Also, first squad of Intercessors, Ancient and second Lieutenant:

Green stuff needs neatening!

Hopefully I can get these guys based and primed over the course of today/tomorrow and start getting paint on them. Really want to see what a squad of these painted looks like. Will wait until I get my hands on the multipark kit before I build the others, so I can have some variety and get Grenade Launchers!

Cheers,

WW

Hellow,

I allready follow you on Instagram and now on this forum, your work is awsome like allways. Come your shoulderpads from the deathwatch kit?

thank you for the inspiration you gave to me to begin a novamarines force. :happy.:

Thanks for the kind words!

Yes, the pads are from the Deathwatch kit.

Arise thread, arise!

After a brief 40K hiatus (curse you, Shadespire!), I am back to painting Primaris Novamarines. So, to kick things back off, he's my Gravis Captain with a slight adjustment to the sword arms position to get a more natural look:

And here's the first squad of Intercessors I'm working on:

Well done, Wraithwing.

  Looking Good.

How did you reposition that arm? Looks great

About time you come back to your Nova Marines Looking great man

Thanks chaps!

Arm re-position was relatively straight forward. You have to shave a fair bit of the arm itself to get it to sit straight, but it's not hard to do.

I've got mad respect for anyone who paints halved/quartered schemes, and you've done this one really well (I'm also convinced such people must be insane, but whaddaya gonna do!).

Also shout-out to those power weapons, they look fantastic!
