I've never finished a single model in this force, and I've been touching up a few little bits to brush up my skills. I've got about 10 models in Dettol, they were painted very badly... I just use the regular GW blues, I tend to use Macragge blue base, wash it with Drakenhoff, layer with Altdorf and Calgar, then glaze with Guilliman. You're definitely better than average and when finished you'll have a pretty good looking force but the key is: you must finish. It'll be worth it. Trust me. Think Dory..."...just keep painting". I've not got much to share, other than that I've started to repaint Guilliman; I thought gold would suit the Imperial Regent much more. I'll still be keeping the pauldron and knee pad blue though. I've worked a bit more on Felix, I decided to abandon the blue cloak and trim in favour of traditional red and gold. All he needs now is the metallics finishing, eyes, inside of cloak, knee pad, another lighter highlight on the cloak and transfer. And to paint over the gold fingerprints I made...
