I think I'm going to try again, the greenstuff is too blocky. I've been on a bit of roll today in terms of painting and got quite a lot done. I've gotten most of Captain Enoe done, just need to finish the cape, purity seals and tidy some stuff up. This is the first model I've painted for them and would love C&C. The general gist of the army is that they dispise mutations and are undivided marines using older marks of armour and salvaging parts from loyalists. This guy will serve as a sergant or a lord , he's a pretty simple model but I love the pose. I've got some plans for the next grotsmasha challenge for a night lords sorcerer, it'll involve quite a lot more than I've ever really done. Hopefully it'll be worth it. TrawlingCleaner Posted March 1, 2018 Author Share Posted March 1, 2018 The perks of having a snow day is progress! I finally built the terminators that I've been planning for a while. I had some bits from forgeworld arrive today so I got these guys built. The bolters are magnetised so that I can swap them out for combi-weapons when I need them. They'll be sticking with Power Axes because A) axes are cool and B) they come standard on Chaos Terminators. Speaking of axes, I got the Sons of Horus command duo because they're very brutal looking models which fits perfectly with the night lords. I was going to leave them stock but unfortunately there must have been something wrong with the mold because as I clipped it off the sprue, the bottom of the standard pole popped off. I think it was already broken just below the hand. It's not the end of the world but I thought I may as well give it a go and make another banner that was more fitting of the Night Lords. So far I've completed a Talos, a succubus and a Archon/Succbus not sure which yet. I've also started on a Raider and a Haemonculus. I'm actually really proud of how the Archon/Succbus Morathi conversion turned out and how the paint job is turning out.
