Which primarch is next? Or will it be two?

Am I the only one that doesn't like the aesthetic decision to produce Loyalist primarchs as monstrous creature-sized models? Space Marines are already considered giants, but one can accept the idea of an 8 foot tall superman living among people who are a little more than half their size, but if you accept the idea that a normal adult male human would come up to about chest height on a Primaris Marine, then the idea of beings the size of Robby G living among societies of normal human beings gets a little absurd.

Unless GW is making some kind of statement about the significance and heroism of the loyalist Primarchs by making the models outsized.

How tall is the Guillman model anyway, in regards to approximate height? Primarchs should only be 10-12 feet tall excluding Magnus, and the Guilliman model always struck me as a bit odd regarding its proportions.

Guilliman's model is about one-and-a-half times the height of a Deathwatch Space Marine. He's also the EXACT SAME height as his Forge world model.

So him being around 10 to 12 feet tall is still represented by his model pretty accurately.

The model isn't super tall. He has a raised scenic base and has bulky armour but size wise isn't too bad, especially next to Primaris.

A Gravis Captain isn't far off!

I was actually referring to Guilliman without his scenic base in regards to his height.

They should bring back Sanguinius first.

They should absolutely not!

Sanguinius coming back invalidates so much regarding the Blood Angels. I don't even PLAY Blood Angels and I would prefer he not come back because it'd make so much of their story pointless.

It doesn't have to at all just look at Guilliman - pretty much same thing here .

I have three words that shows that's not the same:

The Black Rage

Sanguinius death is one of the defining things for the Blood Angels. His resurrection would basically invalidate basically all of their storylines after the Horus Heresy and make them pointless.

It would not. Not even a little bit.

However it's one of those topics that always end up getting too heated and this thread is not really about Sanguinius possible resurrection so I won't go further into detail. It's been discussed to death multiple times already anyway.

My two guesses are:

1. Leman Russ, Lion El Johnson or Dorn

2. Fulgrim

is dorn even alive?

Supposed to have died raiding a capital ship to stop a Black Crusade, but only his hand(s?) were ever found.

I would say likely to return currently - Russ/ Lion, Vulkan & Dorn,

Unlikely - Khan & Corax

Very unlikely - Ferrus - Unless leading the Legion of the Damned

Fluff breakingly no - Sanguinus

They only found his hand (An Imperial Fist)

Theories range from "being a prisoner" to "lost in the warp" to "faked his own Death"

Didn't Curze foresee Dorn dying too?

Not entirely sold on him being alive.

Khan and Corax unlikely? Below Vulkan and Dorn?

They were hinted at in Ashes of Prospero whereas the latter two pretty sure were not

We know just because your physical body dies does not mean your soul is dead. Mortarion chased his adoptives father around the warp collecting pieces of it to torture. We also know for a fact that Primarchs are made from warp stuff, making them even more attached to the warp than others. So Sanguinis and Manus may not have a body but their spirit still resides in the warp.

So Manus could be Primarch of the Legion of the Damned, and Sanuinius is the Sanguinor. Able to will themselves into the physical realm for a short time before going back.

Now Horus had his soul obliterated by the Emperor, so I don't see him coming back. However his replacement is Abaddon, whom could easilly reach Primarch levels due to chaos blessings.

Vulkan - disappeared, fate open as he’s a perpetual
Dorn - presumed dead, but why only hands found?

Khan - Trapped in Dark Eldar Webway, likely dead or insane from several millennia of torture
Corax - Last seen heading heading for the Eye of Terror in a small ship by himself, never going to end well

Sanguinius is the Sanguinor. Able to will themselves into the physical realm for a short time before going back.

Now Horus had his soul obliterated by the Emperor

I’m sure Sanguinius was killed by Horus in a similar way, Horus was unable to defeat him physically (spoiler! indeed Sanguinius got in a pretty serious wound on Horus which allowed the Emperor to finally kill him when he realised Horus was irredeemable) and so unleashed the full psychic power on him destroying him and scarring the Blood Angel soul from then on causing the Black Rage

In the short story of The Emperor v Horus, Sanguinius is not supppsed to have a mark on him, suggesting psychic attack

I don't think it makes much sense to argue about the exact details of that battle since Black Library has yet to cover that one properly (we're getting there slowly but surely) and we already got told that not everything might be as we've been told so far.
