Hey folks, I am finally going to sit down and get my dream army going. I have always wanted to throw together an army of the fallen. The only problem is I am not sure what codex to use.. Since Cypher has the imperial tag, i am debating going either Vanilla Marines, Chaos Marines, or Dark Angels.. The army would not consist of much in line of vehicles and the sort but more along the lines of elite space marine units. Maybe a few vehicles, if i went with chaos the armor would not be tainted as much as normal CSM.

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations and feedback or if anyone knows anyone else that has made a fallen army?

Does anyone know of any other folks who have already taken this on?

Welcome the Dark Angels section of the boards! :smile.:

Whichever direction you choose to go, I hope that you have fun and that you share it here with us.

An Interrogator Chaplain will be here soon to take you down to cell 42. It's usually best if you don't struggle too much, but I daresay it makes no difference to the Interrogator.

Well, you could try searching using the same tags you added to this topic! (Link).

Edit:

Actually, Cypher and the Fallen have never really been a formal "army", but rather are a unit/warband that fights alongside another force for its own inscrutable reasons. That gives you a lot of freedom to go in whichever direction you want.

Well, Cypher and Fallen do have Imperium and chaos keyword. So you can go two ways -- play as "renegades" who just went rogue, or play as secret agents or advisors in some loyal chapter, playing the role of grey cardinal. Or you can collect both and play them either as SM or CSM.
