Deathwatch Deathwatch Fortress Furor Shield - Sternguard and Custodes - 26/06/2025

My newest batch of minis. Some sternguard including a guest custodes! As I expect at some point we'll get some primaris deathwatch I wanted them to be roughly able to pass as deathwatch veterans. I think they would unless power weapons are part of the default loadout. Two of these are also my version of a primaris captain Artemis and Donatus from kill team Cassius! I think I've captured them quite well don't you? The custodes is one of the ones that helps the primaris integrate and is overseeing that process at furor shield. Some of the green stuffing has gone better than others aha. either way though I'm VERY pleased how the custodes turned out. Any guesses which chapter each are from?

 

 

I'm not a custodes player but I thought building one of those Emissaries Imperatus that turn up to help primaris marines integrate would be fun for my deathwatch/inquisition. The main body is a stormcast with a bunch of custodes parts, marine parts and green stuff. I went with a melts spear as A) cooler, B) probably more effective. Got a little scroll for his orders as well. What do you think?

 

 

This here is my primaris version of Donatus from Kill Team Cassius. They are not donatus themselves but an homage so they're from a different chapter. Any guesses which? Using parts from the original model worked really well and I think it's a very good recreation!

 

 

This next one my overwhelming vibes were BONESSSS. I've also used s slightly different bolter magazine and i've used one of the centurion heads. I can't decide if the head works or looks goofy.

 

 

Next up is my homage to a primaris Artemis (again not the man himself). I did what I could with various aspects but some were just too much of a pain to recreate. All the same he's got the important bits, head, backpack icon, bionic arm, combi flamer, cape, sword. The green stuff is definitely very rough, if I had to do it again i'd have used a model that wasn't missing most of it's central area aha

 

 

This one is a much simpler conversion but i'm loving the two handed sword slung over their back. Any guesses on which chapter they are?

 

 

Again nothing too special here. Various bits and pieces make a cool model. Any guesses on chapter?
