Actually that's only with a +10 :wink: Just got good stat rolls and chapter buffs too

Max starting stat is 50, usually a Chapter buff is +5, so +10 in advances would get you to 65 total (and that's assuming you rolled a 20). Where did the extra 7 to get you up to 72 come from?

 

i'll have a look on my lunch to remind me :smile.: i probably did max out my bs and just haven't checked my spends fully.

 

EDIT: Ah! i got 2 armour histories a that give BS buffs

I've resolved the actions of Incariel and Artemios - some of the dodge rolls are impressive!

I’m not sure how fate points work. I assume they are a limited supply and I don’t know if they refresh.

 

if that is the case I will just take the miss and save them for a more important roll.

 

for the next round I will do the same action again and target the same trooper (D)

They will refresh after this combat so if you want to spend one you can.

 

If you are taking the miss, you should still move another 16m closer!

Not necessarily each combat; the rules state each "session", which I will take to mean each "act" of the story. As this is a tutorial, I don't want it to unfairly penalise players.

 

Sobek: this time you will be about five metres away. You will get +10 to hit, so you'll be at 72 or less to hit. If you hit, he won't dodge (I already failed) so you can roll your 3d10 damage and I will work everything out!

I can't get to a computer at a moment but should Ashlander/Apostle/TBTL want to try to finish off the guards youare more than welcome to start Round 3!

Quick question for those that know the rules better (that I've been wondering about because it affects Titus' Stalker) and Apostle's last post reminded me of it:

 

How does Tearing interact with the extra d10s of Damage from Accurate? Do you get 2d10 keep one, then add the extra d10s... or do you combine the rules and get 3d10 keep 2 (or even 4d10 keep 3)

I think Pyke just killed D, but J still needs taking out.

tearing doesn't apply to the accurate damage. Only the initial weapon damage. so you get the extra d10's AFTER tearing applied,. :)
