I think more people are into lust than homicidal rage, death, or uncontrolled mutation.

Lust... Check

Homicidal Rage... Failing 2+ Armor saves... Check

Death... I hate flies in the summer?..

yeah, slaanesh have touched me several times :)

thursdays GW livestream as AT updates, if anyone has access to watch it please give us updates asap, cheers!

I use my Prime ‘one free Twitch sub’ on it so will watch and report anything interesting.

mortis & gryphonicus transfer sheet

and as the text in the pic is in deutsch, I think this is a flyer or something from Spiel.

we might get some news during the weekend... so tomorrows stream might not be very revealing at all...

Spiel starts tomorrow I think. So I’d imagine that if GW are having a presentation there it will be tomorrow? As those things tend to be on the first day of an event? Then they might talk about it in the evening?

Just guessing but could happen.

Watched the stream. Nothing amazingly revealing but did confirm some stuff we’d heard 3rd hand before.

War of Sigmar has a good roundup:

Actually the talk of Titan classes between the ones we know (light scout below the Warhound for example) was great. Looking forward to seeing those fleshed out!

Thx man, great link! :)

the 3 new Titan classes they have planed for the future intrigue me the most(though it throws my current ideas for planning out my homebrew Legion out of wack until I have more info about these new classes)

the one between Reavers and Warlords isn't that intriguing, barring some weird mechanic or special weapon only they get, though I'll probably get at least one just for variety's sake.

the one between Warhounds and Reavers, well the big question there is if they'll be "scout titans" or not, and if they'll get carapace weapons or not.

a Titan smaller then a Warhound is interesting to hear about, sense the Acastus Knight Porphyrion is already on par with a Warhound for size, this means we'd be getting a scout titan that's around the size of the bigger knights, unless of course they were talking about the Acastus class knights? I wouldn't mind if they ended up treating them like titans to represent their scale and firepower more accurately.

is there any old lore that might give us a hint as to what these things might be and how they'll work?

Not that I can recall from old lore, although a suggestion was to look in Tempest - and there are a few rare chassis of Titan listed there, but with nothing more than names and the suggestions of others besides suggests to me it's left a nicely blank slate for things to be added in future!

I feel as though a combat dedicated one, with perhaps more overt building destroying capacities, would be the sort of useful option to add to the current selection.

No weapon packs this year? Argh. That really sucks.

I don't know where this is coming from. Andy only said that they were coming, but kept being vague about it. There was neither a confirmation nor a denial.

from peoples notes from yesterdays stream...

they hired a new guy to do the weapon packs (he just started) and also said he has a backlog.. so 2+2=?

I hope they come in next two months, but im not very optimistic about it.

they will propably show up at the same time with Titandeath so in february...

Regarding the additional weapons they definitely remained vague, I wrote down "no preview yet but an annoucement soon" ... the sooner the better of course. Not holding my breath ...

Regarding the potential "new" classes of titans, I would speculate the lighter than warhound scout titan might be the non-mutated version(s) of the Slaanesh subjugator and questor titans, iirc they hinted at that previously, and the other ones might include the original warlord sub-classes like the nightgaunt, nemesis, deathbringer, eclipse, … but as said, this is only speculation. Definitely eager to know more.

"Happy" (in a certain way) I'll probably be able to save a little bit of money before they release new stuff (unless I spend it on more reavers and warhounds of course)

I’m still scratchbuilding and 3D printing my own weapons until the real ones arrive in my hands.

Btw does anyone have their Reaver weapon cards? Is a chainfist 25 points? I can’t find the card and I’m trying to work it into a list for Sunday.

the possibilities presented by lighter then a Warhound and bigger then Warlord classes are really interesting to me, sense the backstory for my Homebrew Legion is that their homeworld was so severely ravaged by civil war during the Age of Striffe to the point that only the Titans remained standing, with the larger classes reperpousng themseves into mobile arcologies, complete with habitation, hydroponics, and manufacturing, so the only new titans they could build from scratch would be lighter classes while bigger ones could only be repaired from existing numbers, at least until the Imperium and Machanicus showed up and reorganized them into a Legion instead of (mostly cold)'waring' citystates and vassels.

I really want an Imperitor or two to act was my walking factories someday

The fact that the rule book has photos of at least some of the alternative weapons means they are already sculpted. I’m personally confident they’ll be coming with Titandeath (nothing to back that up apart from Andy’s ‘we’ll be seeing those very soon” comment).

Yes, at least the carapace laser blasters and the Sunfury are already sculpted, as well as the missile pod for the knights.

The Warlord power claw shouldn't be too tough either since there is already a FW part available for it, and the same goes for Reaver volcano and melta cannons.

What I'm worried about are the weapons that aren't available from FW:

- Mori Quake cannon

- VMB array for the Warlord

- Paired TLDs for the Warlord

- Paired gatling blasters for the Warlord

- Warp missile rack for the Reaver

- Reaver chain fist (although I seem to remember it from the FW store, but I can't find it now?)

- TLD for the Reaver carapace (but this one should be easy to do, it's the same as for the Warlord after all)

Most of these are easy to magnetize from the Warhound (or Reaver) arm weapons, but some are not even sculpted.

What's also interesting to me is that there are more weapon options available for the 40k scale titans, like e.g. the Saturnyne las cutter for the Warlord, or VMB for the Reaver carapace
