Looking good. I like the combination of the Aquila on the carapace and the Eye of Horus on the shoulders. There would have been a time where both were displayed alongside one another proudly.

 

What's next for your Legio?

You don’t like the green of the Legio or my interpretation of it? To me it looked like Tamyia Field Grey - a green/grey shade... I’ve seen others opting for a more teal approach...

I love a good medium or Dark Angels green but olive or grayish greens don’t do it for me. I’m weird, I don’t like desaturated colors.

Thx! I tried to emulate the art in the book - hence the different thickness in the stripes... I enjoyed it and it’s good fun to try it out. :)

They really do go together fast, the legs are only a couple of pieces, the weapons are simple and the torso is a snap. It’s the polar opposite of the damn Reaver.

Hmm... I want to, but I’m cautious. Designing the banner is a challenge in its own right, but the hanging mechanism is what really concerns me...

Absolutely. With regards to the hanging mechanism, maybe you can use sewing thread around the two little pistons and glue them to the banner. That's my "immediate" idea.

Thank you man, and don’t despair - just stick to it. You won’t believe what a few hours of straight work can do. And more so if you repeat them the day after... (weekends are admittedly better for this :D)

It's not the quantity I despair of rather I chose a Legio with a white scheme...
