Repentia, and other Adepta Sororitas fiction

There have been a number of eshorts recently, and I thought it would help to have a topic that lists them. The link below has, to my knowledge, every book that has Sisters in them, either as a protagonist, or in someway. Helsreach didn't get added to the search I made, most likely due to the fact that their presence is so small, compared to the Black Templars. I have all of the books in the list and the radio play (not read or listened to it all...yet  ), but if there are other works of fiction not included here, please add to the topic. There are two books incoming. The Bloodied Rose, and Celestine. The former is on pre order next month, the later, to my knowledge is apparently in January and is limited edition. I have to get that!

So, dig in and enjoy them!

For some 'sadistic but highly competent scary religio-fascists' takes on them, both Rob Sanders' "Redemption Corps" and Chris Wraight's "Stormcaller" novels have a good innings for the Sisters.

Nor especially glamorous, but showing that dark/twisted side of the lore is interesting, if not explicitly *enjoyable*. Makes the Warhammer world seem bleaker and more horrifying. Not easy going, but fascinating and makes the actual world itself seem like a nicer place all round!

Also worth note is "Legion of the Damned" which is an utterly smashing novel (featuring three distinctly plausible legions of the damned, a very well done story, as an aside), and also has a good innings from the Sisters of Battle.

It's set on a cemetery world. Very vivid.

Edit: Fehervari is a brilliant author as well, and his "Cult of the Spiral Dawn" has a prominent Sororitas role - albeit in a cultural/historical-context more than as specific characters carrying the story. Well worth a look, even if a low-key 'Imperial Guard' story isn't normally your thing. Such an enjoyable story.

I like the increasing number of Sororitas-related stories we are currently seeing from Black Library.

An additional story involving Sisters (and some Space Wolves), seems to be "Blood of Asaheim". I haven't read it, so I don't know if it is an ok read.

I am seriously considering to get the limited edition version of the Celestine novel. Really looking forward to it.

Speaking of Celestine, her and Greyfax are setting out for new adventures in an audiobook set to release in February:

Our Martyred Lady

Interesting to see them them trying to quell some unrest within the Ecclesiarchy as part of the current events in the setting.

I want to get the Celestine book too. I'm a little hard of hearing, so whilst an audiodrama is cool and all, I'd probably struggle to hear it.

Didn't know about the Blood of Asaheim book. I'll add it to the list
