elbianc
Slaanesh is all about speed, i would like their characters to be able to move and summon on the same turn, but that would be overpowered and abused... Panzer
Nah it would still be useless. Not being able to move is not the problem of summoning. It doesn't help that you can't but the real problem lies elsewhere. Armchairarbiter
The summoning may be for AOS and the depravity points system. She'll probably provide some kind of buff and the shooting attack in 40k. Or a debuff. Unless they rework summoning somehow. Panzer
Would be nice but I think it's safer to assume that it'll be a minor buff to summoning in 40k as well and thus pretty useless as long as summoning itself doesn't get reworked. ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350975-slaanesh-harpist-artwork/page/3/#findComment-5212514 Share on other sites

I think its would be great, everything that wants to summon also wants to be on the move, and you would be on the other side of the tablet Turn 1, but what do you think is the main problem with summoning? That it gives you basically zero benefits over just taking another detachment, especially in a CSM army. Unless you want to have only a super small amount of units that wouldn't fit in a patrol detachment or one of the specialised detachemnts then taking a detachment to gain access to all the Codex Daemon stuff is always the better choice. Kraken
Infernal Enrapturess stats for 40K taken from an unboxing video. It was hard to tell from the video but she seems to be 80 points. Sersi
It looks like the Infernal Enrapturess and Karanak are 80 pts and 70 pts; but all the others daemons points are pre-Chapter Approved costs. So she might get her costed reduced with the FAQ. Looks like both factions received two 1 CP stratagems. sadly they are all mission specific to Wrath and Rapture. SLAANESH STRATAGEMS: Rapture of Violence: 1 CP Use this Stratagem at the start of your tune. Select an Infernal Enrapturess from your army. Until the start of your next turn, re-roll wound rolls of 1 for friendly units of DAEMONETTES in the fight phase whilst within 6" of this Infernal Enrapturess. Tighten the Noose: 1 CP Use this stratagem at the end of your first, second, and/or third Movement phase. The unit entering the battlefield this turn (see entering the fray) can be set up wholly within 6" of any battlefield edge. KHORNE STRATAGEMS: Howl of Wrath: 1 CP Use this stratagem at the start of your turn. Until the start of your next turn, re-roll wound rolls of 1 for friendly units of FLESH HOUNDS in the fight phase whilst within 6" of this Karanak. Howling Summons: 1 CP Use this stratagem at the start of your Movement phase. Karanak can attempt to use the Daemonic Ritual ability to summon a unit of 10 Bloodletters, 5 Flesh Hounds or 3 Bloodcrushers at the end of the movement phase. Oh wow they really gave her BS2+. That's better than I expected. So that means Slaanesh now basically has a 80p Lascannon with fix 3 damage hitting on 2+ and character keyword protection. Only against targets with T8 or T9 it's worse than a Lascannon. Also the fact that she doesn't give the same +1S buff as a regular Herald means there's still a reason to not just spam this one and instead take the regular Herald as well which is great news! M7 is also enough to keep up with Daemonettes. I'm really pleased with that Datasheet and I can already say she'll find her way into most of my lists for sure.
