Daemon Name: Setiphor Warp Breed: God Aliases: Binder of Souls Sword of Retribution True Name: Unknown Setiphor is the God of Justice and Martyrdom or at least that is what his followers believe him to be. I, on the other hand, believe him to be an artificial light within the Warp. He breeds the urge for retribution of vilest sort. His daemons, or angels as he calls them, approach mortals on the guise of saviors and seed their hearts with the lust for vengeance. His mortal followers bind their souls to him and their souls feed his strength upon death. Many Excommunicated Astartes who still feel that they are still loyal to the Imperium have bent the knee to Setiphor for they see him as the manifestation of the Emperor in the Warp. For millennia Setiphor had been bound to Khorne by an oath of blood. He was defeated by one of Slaneesh’s Greater Daemons and wanted vengeance against the Keeper of Secrets. Khorne agreed to lend him his forces to exact his revenge in exchange for a number of skulls. When Setiphor was finally close to paying the cost Khorne increased the debt. This continued for millennia until Setiphor was finally able to attack multiple worlds simultaneously. With his debt finally repaid he was free to go but the forces he had were taken from his command and he was left to a meek existence in the Formless Wastes. Slowly he was able to feed on the daemons in the Formless Wastes to regain strength to be able to reach out to real space. He began to garner souls by promising redemption to those who were suffering under the Imperial chokehold, whispering how the Imperium had deviated from its original course. Many Imperial citizens have flocked to Setiphor, they profoundly believe that the corrupt and stagnant Imperium needs to be set back on course. Setiphor does not elevate any mortal to daemonhood; instead he reincarnates them once their souls have become a part of him. The majority of his host were once mortal souls. Those mortals who lived a martial life are turned into his greater angels, Brightblades. Brightblades are giant creatures clad in golden armor save for their head, which shows their gaunt face with no eyes. Any battlefield that the Brightblades are present is a loud and raucous place for the Angels of Redemption revel in harassing their opponents. They wield the Animus Blades with unimaginable skill that very few creatures can hope to match, much less survive against. They also wield the Chains of the Martyr to bind their opponents or to close the distance. Those who were psykers\intellectuals in their mortal existence are reborn as Smite Priests. These hooded creatures draw upon the power of the warp as Setiphor’s sorcerers to deliver a vendetta to those who evade justice. Unlike the Brightblades, the Smite Priests rarely ever speak and if something needs to be communicated it is done so telepathically. Their true form is not seen since they are always cloaked in hooded robes and rarely can someone get close enough to even engage in melee but it is told that the Smite Priests resemble Setiphor the most under the robes and show his true nature. The harbingers of his arrival are the Vengeance Wyrms. These serpents are always the first to be seen when Setiphor’s forces arrive. They dance in the sky aloft their plumed wings before they dive to pursue their prey. The Wyrms have no eyes but are able to locate targets with their warp sight, using their psychic imprint to track their victim. It is said that in the past Setiphor spoke to the denizens of Terra in its past and that his Wyrms were worshipped as an extension of him. It seems to me that Setiphor and his growing army are positioning themselves to take advantage of the distraught Imperium. He wants to warp the weak-minded faithfuls to become what they seek… the Emperor.

Here will be posted some heavy chaos conversions/kitbashes/scratch builds that I have been working on for as long as a couple years now. I am looking for thoughts, suggestions, and opinions on how to make some really monstrous models. NOTE: Picture quality and size increase drastically later in this plog, so feel free to skip ahead Most recent completed project: current wip:

So, I'm thinking about my next competitive list and I think I'm going to include Aeatos'Rau'Keres on it, the FW LoC. My last list consisted of Magnus and some Rhinos with flamer Rubrics and zerkers, but the problem was that Magnus got focused ALWAYS. He was my first wave and my opponents always tried to down him before they went for the rest of the army. That's why I guessed that it would be a good idea to get him a friend, and looking at Aeatos stats he looks like a beast and great, but I haven't ever seen him played so wanted to ask for opinions. I'll be playing him besides Magnus and the Changeling for a double threat list and the -1 to hit bubble to defend them turn 1, do you guys think it could work? Also, what would you do with the 885 points remaining in a 2000 points list? I was thinking of a couple of heralds for smite and wrapping Aeatos, the Changeling and them in a supreme command detachment and cultists and Noise Marines in an allied battalion for more CP and anti-infantry... Any other ideas? I would like to keep some CSM, but maybe I should go for an all-Daemon list instead.

What is there to love about the first of the daemon engines? I've never quite used its massive claws but I do like the intimidation factor it brings. I like it can wander off by itself and I don't have to worry too much about it

The world was on fire. The Galaxy suddenly found itself in strife and calamity unlike anything seen before in the last 60 Million years. This was an unrivaled catastrophe in human history. Humans and their various warmachines fight their rebelling automations in brutal warfare from the ground to the skies and throughout local space. Various projectiles of death pierce, maim or obliterate flesh, bone, wires and metal without mercy or pause. The land bore various craters and crashed spaceships while entire forests and Hive Cities burn and gutted of life. Worst of all are the anomalies. Tears in space, reality being altered beyond comprehension while spectral beings manifest in droves tearing man and machines apart, twisting insides with strange incantation, spreading all-killing filth or using sharp-unnatural weapons to painfully dismember their victims. Their voices echo through the battlefields and the minds of all fighting in this world. Madness spreads throughout humanity. The humans of this world fighting desperately against the Manchines and Spectral Ghosts now turn on each other. Some have lost all sanity and started killing anything they could find, including themselves. Others are fighting alongside the ethreal beings and some of the rebelling automations, those with strange marks and deformations all over their metallic bodies. Soon me and my fellow squadmates found out the truth. The twisted voices and strange sensations came for us, what little resistance we tried to form against the temptations easily fail. We too embraced the madness and started attacking everyone else that did not follow the truth of the Four True Gods. Thirteen of us, each Gene-enhanced Cyborgs wearing mighty Power Armor, armed with various weapons, rip and tear to show our devotion to our new patrons. A being of Golden Light started attacking all of the followers of the Dark Gods. With simple thoughts entire hordes are ignited and burnt asunder. Over a dozen of the mightiest Chaos Daemons, Iron Men and Human Champions fly to confront the Unbeliever known as Neoth. A climatic battle ensues as they fought like blitzing lights moving faster than even cyborg eyes could perceive. The leader of our squad convinces us to teleport and take over a nearby 'science outpost', butchering any enemy combatants or civilians in the way. A blast blowing a gigantic hole in the wall allowed us to see Neoth hovering, staring at us. Just as he was going to blow us up a dark magical blast hits him from nowhere. Manifesting from the shadows is a Daemon with grey skin, unique amongst the others. "Belakor." The voices whispered to us. He was once a Xeno tens of millions of years ago, the first mortal to sell his soul to Chaos, first to become a Daemon Prince. And the voices promised us the similar glorious rewards once we've done the ultimate act of devotion. Some of our squadmates are confused, thinking we've taken this facility to enhance our abilities or find a way out of this world. It is then that our leader activated the experimental weapon that would annihilate the entire world and everything in it to dust. Some of the Thirteenth refused to go along, their puny minds unable to comprehend and accept the will of the Gods. Gunfire ensues, the five of us plus our leader gunning down our former comrades instantly without hesitation. Up high above the being of light and ethreal shadow unleash. Realiizing the plan is in motion, Belakor closes in and wrestles Neoth before the weapon activates and cosigns this world into oblivion. Everything lit up in an instance before my sight turned dark. Though near death the miracuolous Warp saved me and my true comrades and gave us the rewards we were promised. Our leader became a Daemon Prince of Undivided while my four comrades became Daemons themselves, each worshipping one of the Four. As for I, I felt untold power coursing through my veins as I quickly lost consciousness. Belakor managed to teleport out of the planet just in time while Neoth felt the full blast from the weapon, severely injuring him. He would not be an annoyance for the next couple of millenia.
