Hi there!

 

I would like to share my "works in progress". I'm not a very skilled painter or modeler but I enjoy it !!!

 

I'll start with my "Rhino" as I develop the free-hand decoration

 

 

Averland sunset for the yellow

Balthasar gold and gehena's gold for the golden

 

Some more gehena's gold layers will be coming, some black linningto define the patron

Some lights with ushabti bone for the yellow and Runefang Steelfor the parts that will be on top and some agrax earthshade and seraphin's sepia for the shadows under.

 

Any coments sugenstions and construct criticism are wellcome!

The freehand pattern looks really good, are you planning to make it symmetrical and add some to the left side?

Nup

 

Only on one side. On the two sides I belive it's going to be too much.

 

Maybe a dark blue/grey tones on the other side could be interesting but I'd like to keep it "simple"

Heck yea man looking good! Technique wise it feels like you’re approaching it like I would too.

 

I agree doing something on the other side that big it would probably be a bit much but maybe you could do like a flirt in the corner or something to time together? Definitely experiment, it’s on the right track though!

Here I go again on my own ...

 

My wolfy wolf big armoured robot

 

Robotic parts painted, shadowed and lighted up

 

Armour pieces just glued on after some base color added

The Knight looks most promising. I can't help but think the Thunderstrike gauntlet should have frost claws- just for show, as its primary attack is to smash and shatter his enemies to pieces, not shred and tear them- to reinforce the idea he belongs in a Space Wolves army.

After 2 layers of russ grey on the armour I hace 2 options on sight

 

Option 1 - Go with the golden over the silver

Option 2 - Go with the agrax earthshade and add some shadows

 

Suggestions?

nothing but few base colors added and decided where to put wolfs insignias (at the side like the storms fang/wolf) and under the cockpit window
