Old BA conversion I dug up...

At least 15 years ago I concocted this special character for my brother's Blood Angels. I think we called it various combinations of...

"Angel of Death"

"Champion of Sanguinius"

"Death company Champion"

 

Bits were...

 

The only pewter dark angel in robes that did not have a DA logo. (this bit goes from the feet all the way up to and including the head)

The power sword from the pewter interrogator chaplain asmodai model (which I replaced with a bolt pistol to make my BT chaplain, which isn't far off because I saw an asmodai model used as a chaplain for BT in the Armageddon codex later)

A BA should pad (all pewter back then)

Arm and plasma pistol from an assault squad

And lastly the wings came from a giant eagle from the WFB wood elf army...

 

This was back in 3rd edition. We used rules, stats and such we put together which were exactly the "Emperor's Champion" From the back of the 3rd edition space marine codex, replacing the mastercrafted bolt pistol with a mastercrafted plasma pistol, and added a jump pack, and we added the points difference between a chaplain and a blood angels chaplain (which added 3+D3 deathcompany back then... Who either got a free rhino, or if they were attached to a chaplain with jump pack, recieved free jump packs)

I used that exact same body for a BA conversion back in the day too. It's a nice kitbash and thanks for sharing :tu:
