Wraithknight for DE?

Hey guys,

 

So seeing that Dark Eldar don't have their own Super Heavy to roll out on the field. How does the community feel about a Dark Eldar player rolling out a  wraithknight? Seems really un-fluffy to me, but we gotta have something big to go toe to toe with the big guys.

I see no reason to run it, its already overpriced and DE have better units to do the same job.

I'm not a fan of the idea from a lore perspective, but it would be fascinating to see a wraithknight converted into its evil Drukhari twin - brightlances replaced with darklances, smooth features replaced with angular/sharp Drukhari features, etc. We've seen multiple wraithlords turned into Harlequin wraithlords, so it would be interesting to see the aeldari trinity realized in other ghost warriors.

We've either got the Tantalus, or continue with the logic that we're raiders, and that super-heavies aren't really our thing.

I started one for my contruct army but its in project limbo now unfortunately.

Looks good, definitely not hugely lore friendly but where there's a will there's a way - and the DE certainly have (malicious) will (and ways) Not enough to convince me to do it, as the only way I'd probably ever get a Wraithknight is if I wanted an expensive terrain/base decoration but I'm keen to see this come out of project limbo

Thanks! Yea for sure didnt mean to lobby to get them in all DE armies, it was just a weird high concept army I started. It was also back in 6th/7th when DE werent doing that great and it was fun to toss in some hard stuff.
