Da Ork Workbench Today

This thread is like the Today in the hobby I... over in the Amicus Aedes, but for us greenskins.

Please post about whatever project your working on today. Feel free to include stuff from your personal threads. And don't feel obligated to post everyday. This is meant to be a thread where we can, at a glance, see what the Fraters are working on, when it comes to da proppa killy faction.

I've been too lazy to really post any progress in my thread here...hobby time has been limited and so I've been spending it doing hobby stuff rather than taking pictures of hobby stuff. Since I last posted though I've painted probably 30-40 boyz, a dozen gretchin, a trukk, a kan, and a hand full of nobz. Also, as most of my boyz are from the black reach, second hand, or both, and it's never mattered before, I found I have no boyz with tankbusta bombs. I do have a pile of unused meltabombs I can loot, so I've been doing that. Slight break from orks at the moment though for me to speed paint the death guard from dark imperium + first strike for an instant 750 point army.

Sadly I don't have anything Orky to report recently since I've been working on a Stardrake and will be working on a Start Collecting! Skitarii box so my Orks are going on the backburner for a while. I've got some Meganobs that need paint but I'm not sure when I'll get back to them. However, looking at the new Ork and Genestealer Cult releases is keeping my inner Big Mech ticking along nicely. Those Goliath trucks and buggies look mighty tempting.

With LVO over, I'm settling into my new routine of working on what I want to, and doing it to completion. Today I took the warboss I painted in ETL6 and finishing him up, doing highlights and some color changes on all the non-metallics.

DOWT I played with a bunch of Squiggy dice:

These dice are hilarious. Originally designed for the new AoS Goblin book, they bounce totally unpredictably (and have a pretty sound statistical spread), running into terrain, attacking models, attacking players. Whether you're enjoying the game you're playing or not, it's fun just to roll these dice.
