Runefyre
As the thread title would suggest, I'm wondering what your thoughts would be on using a thanatar calix model to count as a tyrannofex with rupture cannon to run alongside my GSC. Personally I think it would fit thematically with my personal cult that is mechanicus themed. BassWave
Wouldn't the exocrine be a better fit? Exocrines and thanatars both have plasma mortars. Runefyre
That was my initial thought as well, but the thanatar has a wrist mauler bolter in addition to the shoulder mounted weapon. I thought the stinger salvos of the tyrannofex would adequately represent that weapon. Toomanyprojects
Provided that you make it perfectly clear to your opponent before any game what exactly it was and what it did on the battlefield then I don't see any problem - its a nifty conversion idea and storytelling device Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353771-thanatar-as-tyrannofex/#findComment-5256514 Share on other sites
