Some truly stunning work through this thread. The running poses you got on those Templars look awesome. Super dynamic.

How do you do the legs by the way? I'm thinking cut them at the join and then re-pose with a pin to hold it in place, then build up the green stuff around the pin?

yeah pretty much.

Cut at knee, then remove enough of the armour at the back at an angle. Enough to make it go further but not so much as it's overly noticeable.

At the hip join I'll generally remove the flexible joints detail. Then pin it along with a tiny wedge of plasticard, depending if there's a big gap between the leg and the hip. Then fill it with GS and recreate the flexible stuff that runs under the armour.

Thank you KrautScientist, :)

I got rid of a bunch of the un-built  chaos stuff including the FW stuff I had. Just didn't think I'd be doing them again. I will attempt finishing what I have left at some point, but no idea when. However there is a bunch of new chaosy stuff nowadays so you never know when the world eaters will once again invade the planet currency in the bank account system.

Huh, it's been almost two months......  changed jobs in the last 7 months an it pretty much hoovers up all of my time. It's not even that big of a job. Deeply frustrating. Anyways, done some base work for my Primaris Helbrecht.

Mate, everything here is stunning. Great conversion work. Really brings the Templars to life as Primaris Marines.

Btw, just noticed you signature, \m/ Betting there's a lot of Manowar quotes you could write all over these guys and not seem out of place. Very macho, very bombastic. Hail, Gods of War!

Thank you PowerHungryMonkey, and Hail, Gods of War!!

Knocked this together last night, Helbrecht's sword. Was always a wonder of mine why his sword was so small, even for a first born space marine.

So hope I've done it some justice. 10 different parts in all, with a wire running down the middle of it all to pin it. Had to chop the skull section in half to take out some of the width and stick it back together, as would of been to chunky. Over all length is 5cm.

And his back pack, still some work to do on this but will be left until the model is all fully built.

Thank you Sagentus, and aye. Was one of the main reasons why I never bought him until just in the last few weeks(to gets the bits). That and he's just a little out of scale/proportions. It's unlikely but I feel a new sculpt is needed/wanted. If it were to happen it would be a Primaris transformation for sure..... or they'd kill him off.  Which would be....  unforgivable...

On that note, I have finished Helbrecht last night, need to make a squire for him though. As I felt his gun would be to much on the model so left it out. So it needs a counts as gun guy, one of those things that can't be targeted. A neophyte would do, just need to get my hands on one first though. I hardly play nowadays, so rule wise this doesn't really cause an issue.

Will have more pics up just as soon as the squire is done. :)

@ Sagentus, do it anyways :smile.:

Anyways Helbrecht and his squire. As mentioned I felt that having to add his gun onto this model I felt would of been to much/over crowded. Managed to steal a few bits from the GW model, even drilled out the middle of the wrist clamp

Helbrecht looks amazing!! great conversion all round, look forward to seeing some paint on him.

As for collecting BTs, I am tempted, but i havents got much money atm, so would have to be a bit picky with what i built/painted

Absolutely brilliant work from page 1 to here. Helbrecht looks excellent, and good call on not over-cluttering the model. Plus the squire following him around is very Templar-like and fits the theme of the army well. Looking forward to the next unit to join the crusade!

Thank you :)

Aggressors are next, trying to find some semi flexible ammo belts so I can convert them. Going to see if I can make a "master" out of plasticard and mold them in blue stuff. Set some green stuff  copies and attach them when almost cured. Enough to give some flex but enough time so doesn't droop.

Made these a short while ago. Wanting to change the pose a little here and there but the ammo feeds wouldn't allow that. So managed to find these ammo belts.

Working on a commission for a fellow B&C member. Primaris Grimaldus. Going to be doing exactly the same twice. Once for this and the other for me.
