heya,

i got given a couple of those space marine hero blind boxes and i also bought some too now

I thought what better way to NOT get super stressed with heaps of models and to be able to paint one of my favourite chapters...

killteam = :thumbsup:

only 5 -7 models... i can do that

yellow - ... i can try to do that :tongue.:

so here we are making a imperial fists killteam from some nice cool posed models...

here is Marine Number 1 about 3/4 finished (note i did spray him Averland spray and yes it was a wee bit too heavy  lesson learned...)

decals and some washes left and the base of course :laugh.:

He looks okay; the pose is acceptable if he's about to throw a grenade.

not sure if you can see it but he's got a grenade in his right hand...that wee little green blur  ...:laugh.:

thanks for looking, more after Easter!

Cheers, Mithril

I don’t think it is, it may well be the angle I’ve taken the pic from ?!...

it’s one of the GW blind box series of individual models, they look quite characterful

...perfect for killteam, hopefully I’ll post the plasma marine up in a day or so .

Cheers, mithril

I think you have made a good start to your Fists. I think the battle damage is tastefully applied and I haven't a problem with the dimensions of the model. I think you picked the right range of models for your Kill Team, as I have been eying them off for another Tac squad as well.

Looking forward to the rest of the squad.

Went into the City on May 4th for free comic book day..and went to the local FLGS and picked up 2 more Space Marine hero-Blind boxes...

by some miracle my son chose two and i got the ones i wanted

i have added a space wolf head to the Sarge to make him look more Victorian Era (what i think Imperial Fists veterans would be like) here they are...

i think that's the whole team together now, i'll be undercoating these 2 in a day or so(weather is cold and wintery here at the moment) and i'll probably paint all three of them as a batch now i know how to do my yellow and such :happy.:

Cheers, Mithril
