 Anyway we should have concrete very quickly it is expected early October. Then there will be the new AoS faction and end of October the IF / Sally.

I suspect that with Drazhar being revealed tomorrow and them saying they'll be "ramping up" the previews on Phoenix Rising for the next couple weeks, next Sunday we'll get the preorder preview.

 

By the way, it'd be amazing if after this...

 

...and this...

 

...they did a third one with "A Phoenix Returns", revealing Fulgrim out of nowhere, even if he's some time away.

I'd love that. Can't have an Eldar party without raising Slaaneshs interest after all. Though, yeah pretty unlikely unfortunately. :D

Here are some fresh news I have found on the French 40K forum via Kikasstou. Everything is related to this PA topic:

- PA Book 1: Craftworlds vs Dark Eldar: each Aspects should be granted 5 or 6 powers for Exarchs (one example given was related to Dire Avengers to make them BS/WS 2+). One stratagem would allow to take one extra power for 1 CP. There should be also additional rules for Dark Eldar and Ynnari. Craftworlds should receive traits ala Space Marine Chapters, including Warlord Traits, specific stratagems and psychic powers;

- PA Book 2: Should be Black Templars vs Chaos. According to the Source, Black Legion, Death Guard, Thousand Sons and Renegade Chapters should not receive any further bonus at this stage. This leaves opportunities to see updates for the other Legions: Night Lords, Iron Warriors, World Eaters, Emperor's Children, Alpha Legion, Dark Angels and Word Bearers;

 

- Blood Angels should be in PA Book 3.

The article should be up at around 7pm Central European Time. That was the time for the main Psychic Awakening articles the previous weeks.

 

Curious that the first short story for Psychic Awakening is not setting up the clash between Jain Zar and Drazhar, or even a mention of the Dark Eldar, but Yvraine having dreams about some Eldar scribe joining the ynnari to fight Slaaneshi Daemons. Seems to hint towards a grander conflict in the future involving those two.

Are there supplements planned for the CE and DE? I wonder if they're planning on releasing one aspect and phoenix lord alongside a supplement, with

- Banshees & Iyanden (the common "ghost" element)

- Shining Spears & Saim-Han

- Striking Scorpions & Alaitoc

- Dark Reapers & Ulthwé

And then some other combinations for Biel-Tan and the remaining aspects

(Not rumour!)

 

If DE cet supplements, I hope it would be one for kabals, one for cults and one for covens, or something along those lines - if they do a supplement per major kabal, one per major cult and one per major coven, it would get seriously unwieldy

 

 

The rumours of more chaos fill me with hope too - I don't for a second imagine the chaos undivided legions will get more than a supplement and character (which would already be awesome!) But I can see them getting the WE and EC codices out at some point in this whole campaign

@StD: I wish I could be more accurate about Legions but the level of information is still very limited for the time being.

I thought it was Space Wolves Vs Orks which was being rumoured?

While the rumour is somewhat enticing, the second campaign symbol was the sisters of battle one.

Also Ragnar vs Ghazghull is rumoured to be happening.

Unless Chaos is attacking a Cardinal or Sisters world, which means I can see the hell bible boys vs BT.

@Doctor Perils: didn't say it was TS vs SW vs DA confirmed, just that it was a possible outcome IF... Based on what some of us read and are reading on the French Forum: the rumour is still SW vs Orks as a boxset but with no further precision about the positioning into the PA setting.

 

Kikasstou has been accurate for the moment and he has said nothing specific about PA 4. Only information are related to PA1, PA2 and this simple mention of Blood Angels being in PA3.

 

About SoB being in PA2, that could be logical as well due to this symbol. But no comment on this from Kikasstou.

 

The fact that PA4 could/would be linked to Prospero/Sortiarius is a simple deduction from the map, as extrapolated by Deadfingers and Valrak.

 

At this stage, I guess salt is still our friend.

I'm just wondering where the Ghaz Vs. Ragnar duel fits in all this.

 

Also, if Chaos (Undivided) is the opposing force in part two, I wonder if we'll see the owner of the backpack from the Rumour Engine, which is currently the oldest unsolved one. And this is just wishlisting, but it'd be a nice opportunity to release a standalone Obliterators kit.

 

Edit: At least the Harlequins seems to be enjoying their impending doom.
