Base coat black (any will do)

50/50 black mix with Vallejo heavy blackgreen

heavy blackgreen

progressive addition of ice yellow (ak47) with the heavy blackgreen to further brighten the green without making it yellow.

Hope this helps/answers.

Thanks for the kind words @Brother Lutheriel

For the tilt shields I make use of masking tape to get those clean lines and divisions. I bought a 2mm and 1mm pack probably a year ago and still have 90% of the rolls left. Then I just plaster some decals over the different areas and call it done.

I wish I could claim originality when it comes to the weapons glow but alas I’m going to give credit to the AK-47 green and blue glow paint sets. Having the same paints and a general technique helps give me consistency across my minis. I’m sure talented folks could do without said sets though.

For the kitbashing I’m blessed to have access to some 3d printers and a trove of 40k, medieval, etc stls to make my dudes more too my liking. Unfortunately that also means having to fight the urges to incorporate more and/or “shiny” bits to my existing minis. Hahah.

Don’t mind the dino, he’s a holdover from when my mini-me insisted my Marine needed a war pet.

Well... he's not wrong.    And who doesn't want a dog sized stegosaurus buddy?

Looks great, BTW.

Photo dump of the last, unpainted Marines I have. That said, there are about 5 old paint jobs I wanna redo, a saturnine dread, and two glaives that will have my attention in the coming weeks/months.

Thanks for looking. Hope you like them.
