Hi brothers. I started a Black Templar crusade based on the primaris I have.

The crosses and the flags are based on some medieval monuments next to my village.

There is no story really.. I had the bits by titanicus and glued them to make the tanks look more knightly

Okay, that is clever with the Titanicus heads on the sides of the Repulsors. Certainly unique, and definitely looks cool.

 

Is there a fluff reason for the colour change of the Chapter badge though?

Fluff reason not really. It is kind of imposible for me to paint it freehand and I draw it like a simple cross or more like the justinian cross. But its a personal preference and improvisation

 

I supose it could be the symbol for the particular crusade or somethink

I like the unique colours and basing choice.

Would be great to see a whole army shot. From photo to photo can see that you've tied the force together really consistently with your colour choices and I think an army wide photo would be fantastic.

 

A back story for this force would be cool, I almost get a sense they've been on Crusade a little bit too long... slightly unhinged... Chaotic Good you could say :).

I will add fluff later because its not clear and perfected in my head yet. Maybe I can play a bit of this new campaign GW is going to release and get some inspiration for heroic deeds from there too.

Excellent work on Sir Melchicedech. Whose skulls decorate his carapace? Martyrs who fell in battle beside him, and whose skulls the Knight bear to honor their sacrifice? (The skulls of the Lost and the Damned may spread Chaos-taint to the Knight bearing them- a risk no sane Imperial would take.)

They are the sculls of martirs and heroes. Probably his anscenstors and members of his own familly eternally crusading with him. Someone has to remind him his duty and his vowes and inspire him to overcome their glory .

With all these Eldar showing up in the rise of the phoenix I thought it would be a good idea to add reinforcements in my crusade. 

 

 

I just finished 5 inceptors, 10 more Hellblasters  3x5man intercessors, one leutenant and one easy to build redemptor.

 

So what is the Black Templar name for a leutenant? I am confused...

I will give names to the squads later because I have no inspiration right now.

Next step is to add two impulsors and one Repulsor Executioner.

Any recomendations on how to build them? Which weapon would you recommend for the executioner? Is the big lasscannon the best choice?

I took the redemptor face from a aos stormcast  banner bearer from an old starter set. 

And the eagle breastplate on the Invictor is by the custodes banner.

 

The chaplain is just the model of betrayal at calth with a powerfist and the head of the calth captain

If you cant buy a chaplain dread you have to make one

 

I tried also to give the Invictor a sword... but it didn't work... I will try it with the next invictor.

In fact, I found the name of the redemptors facade

Its called the Stormcast Eternals Lord relictor banner bearer... which is out of production
