XIII Pride of the Legion

[Astartes Consul]

Bit of advice needed on this. While this is more of a list based around 'things I already have and/or think are cool', any tips of making this a relatively balance POTL list would be appreciated.

 

Oh, and I am 83 points over (or, you know, could just add some units to make it up to 2,500).

The Praetor and his unit of Tartaros Terminators don't fit into a Dreadclaw. Are they ... footsloggin' ? Or deepstriking with the Warmonger ? But where does the Praetor go in the later case ?

 

Speaking of drop pods in general ... always bring an uneven number, so the larger amount of pods (2 out of 3 ... 3 out of 5 ... etc.) arrives on turn one.

 

I wouldn't run the Legion Terminators with all Claws. Your list needs more anti-tank both in melee as well as in shooting options.

 

Fulmentarus get better the bigger their unit size. A unit of 5 with Combi Meltas might as well be replaced by 5 regular Legion Terminators with the right gear. Don't need Fulmentarus for that.

 

What / who will be ridin' in the pods ?

Thanks for this! Tweaked the list a little below.

 

My reason behind the Fulmentarus was that I felt I needed at least one UM specific unit. No tactical reason behind it. Have replaced them with a standard Cataphractii unit.

 

In terms of transports etc, one unit of Terminators in one Dreadclaw, the Praetor and Command Squad in the other. Warmonger and Tartaros Terminators deep striking. Leviathan now has a Dreadnought Drop Pod. So now there are three pods.

 

What do you suggest re anti-tank? Added the Xiphon to help bump it up to 2,500 so far.

On mobile the list appears as white font against the white background, meaning I need to highlight the text to make it appear. That's why it's invisible for many people

 

 

Hadn't even thought of that!! Changed it all back to Default text colour now so hopefully it'll be fine?
