Really like how brutal the terminator looks, your off-white on the black remains quite striking. And I quite like how you managed the skin on the praevian! He looks really weathered.

Next off the assembly line - veterans/sergeants/combat specialists. I realised that I don't have a lot of variety of close combat weapons in my army, and since I'm normally up against Night Lords and World Eaters, I should work to give my squads a bit more bite. 

 

 

I'm away for two months with work now, so it'll be quite some time before these guys see some paint.

 

@Torbenos Thank you! He's really a brute, towers over the power-armoured troopers, without being excessive. I originally wasn't too keen on the tone of the Praevian's skin, looked to have a tad too much yellow in to look realistic, but then I considered the fact that the other half of his head is bionic and that he's probably being pumped full of all sorts of chemicals. Anyone would have a funky tinge with all that going on!

And I return! Of course I picked up the Mechanicum box on release, but only slowly have I been able to build and paint anything. First up are some Thallax with plasma.

Been a while! Here are a couple of Destroyers to bring the squad to five. I'm thinking to bring a big squad along side my Immortals shieldwall in a Bitter Iron army to really leverage the hatred buff.

 

 

The greenstuff on the snouts looks a bit smoother in real life!

That looks great, I'm really tempted to do a similar scheme on my mechanicum - I think the yellow will weather really well as yours have!

Those Thallax and Castellax are really great.

The gloss black visors are excellent.

 

Also looking forward to seeing how those Destroyers turn out. It’s a very promising start.
