Hey there!

Figured I'd stop just lurking around and actually upload some of the stuff I've actually finished- mostly Black Legion, though I also have some Exorcists and other stuff lying around!

To begin with, I've gotta apologize for the picture quality - one of these days I swear I'll actually sort out a setup for taking decent pics, but this is the best I can really do at the moment.

But anywho, pics! Here we've got the Shadowspear Obliterators, a squad of Havocs, the Shadowspear Chaos Space Marine squad, and my Lord of Change I like to call Big Bird.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys!

These look great! I really like how you've done the skin on the Obliterators so pale. How did you paint it?

Great work on the Lord of Change too! That will pop on the tabletop.

For the Obliterators, I pretty much just used GW's tutorial video for how they paint the AoS Iron Golem warband skin, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIxE1G_gJyw&t=291s

So pretty much it's Ionrach Skin, washed all over with thinned Agrax Eathshade, layered back up with Deepkin Flesh, and then Pallid Wych Flesh highlight.

It's how I do pale skin on all my Black Legion now, though I go for something a bit more natural looking on my Loyalists :happy.:

Alright, finished my Terminator Squad!

Really liked these models, there's a couple of things I'm not super happy with and I might change, but glad to have them done :smile.:

Let me know what you think!

  • 2 weeks later...

So last night I finished off the second Traitor Guardsmen squad from Blackstone Fortress, which is doubly exciting because it means I've finished the whole original Blackstone Fortress box, woo! Only took me about a year....but I thought I'd take some pics to celebrate.

Anywho, pics! Starting with the squad I finished last night:

And the rest of the set:

Aaaaand some of the models from the Escalation expansion - I've done the Cultists, Firebrand and Servitor X-101, not started on the explorers yet...

Most of the models were painted using GW's tutorials on YouTube, though I did change some things like Ur-025's scheme.

Up next, I'm debating on whether to work on some Infiltrators from Shadowspear for my Exorcists, or some Grey Knights I've had sitting around forever.

Thanks for looking!
