If I thought Infantry was tedious, I have a feeling the bikes are going to be a lot worse!

Moving at a bit more pace now, the 9 Windriders are done:

 

If I thought the 20 Guardians in a row was tedious, boy was I underestimating the bikes! 

I also got the 10 Corsairs done:

 

 

I'm very happy with the results for the Corsairs, they've visually different but the read as a cohesive force for either my Craftworlds or my Dark Eldar

I'm very happy with the results of Himbo Pitfighter Visarch, he really gives off the swagger vibes that I wanted. He's definitely got some major Kenergy though

I'm getting to the end of my Vow now, I've gotten through all the tedious bits, now I'm onto the fun bits! Characters!

 

Wraithguard:

 

My Vow Wraiths done:

 

And a whole lot of Wraiths done for the army so far!

 

10 Wraithguard, 10 Axes, 10 Swords, 3 Wraithlords and a couple of Spiritseers. Not much, right? 

 

I also got the Shining Spears done too:

 

As unit sizes are 3 or 6 for Spears, my plan is to run Autarch Aydona as the Exarch for the unit as I only have 5 built for the unit otherwise

 

 

Not quite as Regal as the others but fitting nonetheless!

 

I've also gotten the Yncarne built in their "Pitviper" mode:

 

It's larger than it should be and on a larger base but I'm honestly not looking to actually play games with it, just have it as a show piece 

 

So, alls left to do is:

2 Farseers

3 Warlocks

Prince Yriel

Yvraine

Yncarne

I've always had a soft spot for wraith units. Also loving the scheme, its a nicer version of mine. That's also a cool Yncarne. Can't wait to see it painted

Thank you Captain! The blue you use is ace and really pops well with basing and the black, it's different not worse! Also your Corsairs are absolutely to die for

When the Event is over, I'll have no Craftworld Eldar models left in my backlog! It'll leave me at about 6.5k points painted (although I plan on selling about 2k points worth of units I won't use). I don't really plan on adding much more, perhaps another Shining Spear to take me up to 6 total + Autarch (if they ever let Autarchs join Aspects), I'm thinking about picking up the Avatar at some point too. Of course, I'll add more Aspects whenever they release (Scropions soon apparently), so the project isn't really done-done

 

I do need to take a full army shot

Still got some bits to finish off like highlights on the black, tidy up Bug-eye-Farseer's helmet and also the bases but very happy so far!

Battle Witch Yvraine and Count-As Yriel is done!

A pretty productive weekend all in all! The Corsair/Ynnari scheme is really popping and I'm really enjoying painting them, It's a toss up between whether Yvraine or The Visarch is my favourite, I think the Visarch just pips it

Yvraine is another "What If" model of what if Yvraine wore armour instead of the dress and a similar opposite for the Visarch. It would make political sense to also wear an armour that is homage to the Banshee armour as a sign of respect to the Iybraesil craftworld

 

Only the Yncarne to do now!

Thank you Yncarne! Painting to a time limit really helps me get stuff done to be honest and it keeps me painting one set of things. I have major hobby butterfly, so if I'm not painting something for a time limit, I'm usually flitting between a load of different stuff

Whichis a bit of a weird feeling, that's my Craftworlds army totally done! (until they release Aspects and Pheonix Lords soon which is the current rumour)

Just when I thought I was out, I find more of the Blighters! 2 more characters vowed for Call to Arms and then I'll (maybe) have finished my backlog off
