Fellow Hobbyists and Guardsmen,

The Elysian Drop Troops Discord community are proud to present our fanmade Codex: Drop Troops. This 180-page, fully illustrated document is a free, open-source project created by the 600 members of our community.

We have chosen to release the Codex in "Alpha" state to accommodate an extended playtesting and feedback phase. This will allow us to refine, polish and develop the Codex to create a balanced and fun faction to play both as and against.

You can download the PDF for free here: https://mega.nz/file/z99ExLRA#y789cuUb0jsG45cBucRmsWasie_QYXeKFHyurhdziQE

I got to say folks this is a tremendous effort and really great codex! Love the fact you included the Phantine Skyborne in here as well ('Double Eagle' was awesome) and all of the other drop regiments. This could also serve as a nice basis for an Imperial Navy codex with a keyword change as well if there were some more options for shotguns and specialised 'Assault' autoguns (like the Hax-Orthlack Creed-9 Pattern) for naval security troopers and armsmen. Again, really great job folks!!!

Thank you! We've had a great reception so far across 40k communities and nearly 300 people have joined our server in the last week. We really appreciate your feedback so thank you for your kind words. Funnily enough one of our admins also wants to expand on the Naval Armsmen theme, so we could develop another D-99 style mini-supplement for them.
