One Valkyrie and one Vendetta for Aeronautica Imperialis. Kroxigor Sclaes over Leadbelcher.  First had a more gold/brass for the metal bits but it did not stound out as much so went over it with screaming bell. It had been my hope at some point to manage to snag a Grot's Favourite for a month this year but seeing the quality you guys continue to output I know that isn't going to happen.  I am in awe of the quality and speed as well as consistency some of you guys can put out.  Keep up the awesome work guys.

 

As for me I finished my Overlord over a week ago but haven't been well and haven't touched a paint brush in that time.  Still, here is the finished photos:

Tried a few new things with this unit. In no particular order: full basing w/ GW basing material, serious attempts at edge highlighting the black following a guide in a 2016 WD, and plasma glow (the 'quickest and dirtiest' part of all the new stuff I tried, I was attempting to finish this unit before tomorrow and thankfully I succeeded).

 

Quite proud of how they turned out, actually--wouldn't mind doing a smaller HH force in these colors. More and better pictures under the spoiler.

 

 







 

I think Qoslom rol Taregan is my favorite of them, honestly. MkIV armor is so clean in a way that a lot of the other armors aren't. 

 

 

Eight models down, 31 to go, 11 weeks remaining in the year. Guess I have to step things up just a bit.... hopefully when I get to the Flayed Ones and the Immortals things will go much quicker.

My second vow for October is done and I'm going for a 3rd (sorry Grot, I ended up having more time than I realised I would. Mainly down to either being poorly or having a poorly household. Kinda puts other things on hold but allows for plenty of painting time!!)

 

I, Dwango, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of October pledge to complete 10 Destroyers, 5 assault destroyers, 5 seekers and a volkite Moritat for the heresy era Dark Angels by month's end. 
 

Some of these only require a slight alteration to the current paint scheme to make them fit as DA's. They were an eBay purchase.

Going to alter my vow, due to some time constraints. Need to get this Knight Questoris and Armiger finished soon for a tournament, so I will switch them out for the Inquisitor, Assassin, and Inq vets. So...

Grey Knights and Emperors Children done, I've been under the weather for the last two weeks so never started the ad mech batch,  but still hoping to get the tzaangor finished over the weekend.

October vow finished- One Knight Armiger (with fancy Mechanicus symbol to show he has the Bastard's Helm) and one Questoris Knight (Paladin, but magnetized). I am very sure I won't be vowing against for this month, but I've got a few things for next month that I'll be mulling on (Word Bearers kill-team, some Necrons, finish off the Inquisition stuff I started this month...). 

 

 

So, for the month of October I managed to complete- 1 Ordo Xenos Inquisitor (Mental Health Awareness challenge model), 1 speed-painted Word Bearer sergeant, 1 Armiger Warglaive, and 1 Questoris Knight. Might be my lowest amount of completed models per month this year, but I was really busy with work and other various RL obligations, so I'm actually happy with getting them done at all.
