Tallarn Commander
Prot, 'tis a gorgeous model. The placement and choice of colors really gels. If you don't mind my asking, how did you achieve that deep rich purple? It might work on my Night Lords Possessed. TrawlingCleaner
Love your paintjob here Prot! The face in particular is lovely, it has a great "using someone else's skin as my face cover" type vibe Tallarn Commander and Prot 2 Back to top

I use a lot of Vallejo, but I'd say this started with a purple from Vallejo, I think it's called 'bug purple' or something like that. But that was just the base purple which can be anything. The detail work comes from washing it with Magos purple contrast, diluted with Contrast Medium. Then building successive highlights with (in my case) a variety of AK fleshy coloured paints, up to a 'pinkish' flesh. ALL of these have varying amounts of Magos purple in them to be consistent with the base colour. At the very end it works up to 'Ice yellow" (at its brightest) from Vallejo on the top most part of the skin.
