Yes. Ork silliness is only silly until you are on the receiving end of it. Squig launchers are a lot less funny when one of them is ripping the face off of the guy next to you.

Orks have also provided a great opportunity for certain types of player. I think a whole bunch of us when we were teenagers saw Adrian (I forget his surname) pulling faces in WD as the Ork battle report player and said "I want that to be me" 

Generally the same type of player that was fine with his own weapons blowing his own troops up (its funny!) but then every now and again them working perfectly and utterly destroying an opposing unit. That was all the more funny if, as an Ork player, your opponent was someone that took the game so seriously (with his immaculate Crimson Fist or Ultramarine army) and then suddenly a lifta-droppa picked up a tank and dropped it on their commander. Of such moments are memories made
