Hi team.

 

So a few years ago I had the beginnings of a WE 30k force that then got parked as I was distracted by renovating the house and 40k marines and orks.

 

As with a lot of others, the release of the Heresy 2.0 box set has tempted me back to 30k and it was an obvious choice to expand my existing force. 

 

Out of the mk6 marines in the box set I've made a 10 man plasma support squad and a 5 man melta support squad. A 10 man tactical squad which I intend to expand to 20 man. I've also started a despoiler squad, but lack of a ready chain axe supply was holding me back. I do have some Kromlech ones that I quite like. I like the Kromlech arms too. I then took the plunge (and financial investment!) to make a shapeways order and got a load of chainaxes, some falax blades and big hammers (and some arms) so I could make some rampagers.

 

For the rampager bodies I'm using the Tortuga Bay "space gladiator" armour and I also ordered jump packs from them. The models are excellent.

 

Also on the assault-focused drive I've also built a 10 man Legion Despoiler Assault squad. For these I used a mix of bits - mostly Khorne Bezerker legs and bodies.

 

I also have a 10 man breacher squad, dreadnoughts x2 with one to make and a Spartan and one more to make. As always I'm prioritizing all the fun stuff to paint and the troops are being left behind!
