Oof...Age of 40k here we go. I play both systems so im used to it but man is there a ton of weapon profiles that wont make any sense now

the big scaramouche document thing also had 6 stats.. but I cant remember what the 6th was

It looks like they are just moving all the Strength ratings into the weapon listings.  Toughness looks like it is still present there in the stat line.

If its leaning more into how AoS works then its just roll to hit and roll to wound with a flat value. No S or T

Some rule systems just rule to hit, then roll to save. That's it.

Who knew some context could be found so soon, like when the stream caught up to the live preview :P 

Interesting how limited the sheet is, though that might be because its starter monopose minis (which look nice)  i like the weapon rules being complete, though no room for special weapon rules in the statline. 

Appropriately basic unit rules for gaunts, and only one faction special rule is good.

No army building details at all though.

From the rules preview and the datasheet it seems like the scaramouche doc leak was real, poorly described and an earlier version but seems close enough.

Not really, quite alot of things they described are not on this datasheet. ( the advantaged/disadvataged system, the enhancement system) Im not even sure its the same 6 stats shown here.

So basically, what is similar is that there are only 6 stats (with S moving to weapons) and no <subfaction> anymore (though that could be starter datasheet only.) but both could be a lucky coincedence.

Interestingly they showed a different Gaunt datasheet later on too, more options, no swarm both Termagaunts.

Also, FINALLY datasheet cards, i have no idea why it took 3 editions to do them...

Most interesting part of that datasheet is the usage of the term "Fall Back move" in the ability.
