(Update Predators) Sons of Horus XXVIII Company & Ultramarines 22nd Chapter

As I am refocusing this on Epic 

 

I will be adding -

 

Sons of Horus 28th Company (28th Armoured Assault Company "The Back Breakers") 

&

Ultramarines 22nd Chapter *Nemesis*

 

 

Well finally found a Legion I wanted to do.

 

So this will be the start of my Sons of Horus army.

 

Test Beak has been completed, I am however waiting for some printed pads to make them more Sons like.

 

Plan on finishing the squad of 10 in April.

Are the pads designed for the new mark 6? There's alot of SoH pads out there and the new ones are larger so you'll either want those or print some older studded left pads to match the size. Another option is 3d transfer style they'll fit just fine on the new plastics and no worries about wierd size disparities.

Yeah they are designed with HH in mind so they will fit well.

Yeah shoulder pads havent changed sizes so you should be alright... Good to have more Sons of Horus out there :)

Looks like you've got the colours nailed down. Looking forward to seeing where you take this, what themes are you thinking to include?

He looks great! I use 3D printed shoulder pads on my SoH too, lots of good ones out there. There are some good 3D printed beaky heads with top knots from RWM that archies forge sells that look great too.

 

What's your plans after the first squad?

Tanks and Dreadnoughts. Glaive will be a must if we get a plastic one.

What scale did you do the Marines, 10mm? My friend and I are holding fire on 3D printing stuff as we're worried about them matching official stuff.

3 Fellblades complete... Still need varnishing thou... But I wait till I have at least 20 models to varnish.

They turned out great. I've always liked the SoH paint scheme and considered painting up my LI army, when it gets released that is, as SoH but ended up choosing Death Guard instead, but there's always the possibility of getting 2 armies I guess lol.
