I like the use of a snow base to contrast with the colour of the model, although I'm not sure the surface texture of the snow looks quite right? (it looks a bit "liquid"? Maybe it's just the way it's interacting with the soles of their boots, or that it looks glossy in the images?)

No i just took the picture when it was not dry yet :)
