Honestly some of the Character options are really nice, Canis and his ability to throw out Mortal Wounds is very nice also, Ragnar goes without saying as a viable option to run with BGV in an impulse to the opponent's face or weak spot in their line. Like you say it's all point dependent at this point

Now that Ive calmed down, Logan Grimnir and Ulrik look really, really good, depending on points of course

I partly agree on Grimnar, I dislike that he's worse in combat than Helbrecht, but his High King rule is very good. Also nice that his chariot can join Thunderwolf Cavalry.

Ulrik really needs to be able to heal, also it would be nice if any of the units he could join had any good melee options ""stares intently at Wolf Guard Heirloom Weapons""

Ulrik with 10 Blood Claws looks good to me

Logan on Stormrider has no keywords that tricky anti X which is a handy bonus. High King rule is very strong

Is it this Friday that the points drop?

It is Friday for points yes

Thunderwolves joined by a wolf Lord are looking decent if you stuck the buffs and if the points are not sky high... Wolf Lord gives the squad sustain hits 1 with the free warriors pride stratagem (saga of the warrior) every turn. You also get the +1 to advance and charge and you can advance and charge or fall back and charge for 1 cp (relentless assault) so that everybody gets +1 damage from thunderwolves ability (damage 3 thunderhammer for the wolf Lord). The wolf Lord gets black death to proc mortal wounds on vehicles and monsters in 4+. You can even stick battle leader on thunderwolf with thunder hammer to do more mortals and gain lethal hits and the extra move. It's a mobile hard hitting unit good all around
