Been working on the terminators, I was kinda batch painting the but the Sergeant is the closest to being done.

Anyway I got a third party Barabas Dantioch mini. For the most part he's pretty cool, but the backpack vents and pistol are a joke. I'm probably gonna change those and add a holster. 

 

I think this leftover Sororitas pistol would work once I shave off the fleur.

Did a lot of work on the terminators 

 

I like how they've come out so far, just need to do a couple more high lights here and there, touch ups and paint the other option parts.

I like the Termies a lot. The FB Captain is coming along nicely, too. I've always liked this patter of the combi plasma. It has a certain elegance that wasn't replicated elsewhere. The pose is also great, very gunslingery.

Amazing output, and a good color scheme. Reminds me of a Flesh Eaters army painted by a guy on here years ago. 

Thought to nick the colors for my own Successor Chapter.

For any of you real OGs here,

 

 

I recreated my first chapter master from like 2007, based off memory. The only things different I remember is his chest plate (before it was one of the space wolf ones with belt and gorget with space wolf stuff trimmed off), the metal St Celestine cape and iron halo. Also his left shoulder armor was different.

But he's 80% there and a nice homage to it. 

 

I wish I still had pics but I don't think they survived.

He's looking pretty cool so far, the paint hid some sins. Got more fine details to work out and some highlights.

Thanks I do too, I think his original one was blue too but it was just a solid "enchanted blue".

Making my chapter master have a tor garradon or Pedro Kantor proxy load out. Do you guys think this appears reasonable? It was a bit tricky to magnetize stuff. I had to pin in an elbow to the powerfist then magnetize that to his arm and make a GS cable bendy enough to be held in place on his hip by the cape lol

Nice work on the ammo feed

I like it. The copied ammo feed turned out exceptionally well. The ammo drum is in a bit of an awkward place, getting into the way of the arm, but I wouldn't worry about that. This is a problem with a lot of official models (particularly older ones): the way they are sculpted/posed would get, in opinion, in the way of the actual movement of the things they represent.

 

All in all: I like the conversion.

Yeah I'm not crazy about the design. But it's sort how the gravis captain is too and some others. But like the arm might be hindered.
