I was inspired to try the Howling Griffons paint scheme. I think it's coming out okay.

You know... I realized I painted the scheme mirrored. Idk how much it would matter though. But it's still annoying considering how hard it is to paint. 

 

Also a salvaged metal coteaz in progress. Mostly needs a base and some touch ups.

The Howling Griffon is done, it was a lot of fun to paint and I half want to make a killteam of them

Love to see it, always been a fan of the Howling Griffons and their awkward, but compelling scheme.

I threw together a primaris ancient banner bearer and painted an inquisitor based off an old metal coteaz. The coteaz probably isn't the best but it was a fun distraction.

I like the gory "skull mask" part of the helmet on the Incursors

I figure they may as well scare the daylights out of you before blowing up your squad with a haywire mine.

Started work on the coteaz proxy. It's overall a cool sculpt but some details are soft so a bit tougher to paint.

He's almost done I think. But the fact that the eagle is attached by basically a tail feather freaks me out

I finally finished the Alternative Sororitas unit :3

I like the blood work on the Incursor blades, i might aswel nick that too seeing as we're brothers in heraldry

I finally got a Sentinel, I've wanted one since the previous kit. It was really fun to make. The weapons swap out easily enough. I just tacked on the supply parts.

I'm not sure what it is about the Sentinel kit, but I like them too.  I think I might prefer the aesthetic of the old model, but both are great

I'm kind of a fan of both? I like this new bulkier one. I haven't built one of the old ones and would need to compare them side by side.

I didn't really know what colors to do with the Sentinel so I went with this lol...

Whilst the red on the legs and feet is a little bright for my tastes, I really rather like how the body came out, especially from the front - it somewhat reminds me of the "red oxide" paint the Germans used in their schemes during WWII.

Yeah I think I might do a little more Nuln oil on those parts. I had to touch them up because the red looked splotchy.
