I started working on some more old terminators and making them in lamellar armor

I also started painting yet another chapter master. I have four of them that are primaris sized. Two are GW store legal, others have too much printed stuff.

More progress on him, he has an alternative sword arm. 

 

But the thing that bugs me mildly is the empty pistol holster. He does have two gun arm options but one is like a grav pistol or plasma and the other is a combi plasma. It still bugs me though lol. But not sure what if replace it with. Maybe a different pouch

I like how the "top" half of the power sword blade came out.  

 

With the empty holster ... given where it's positioned on the model, it seems a bit difficult to see that it's empty..?

Yeah it's hard to see. And also the power fist drum magazine hides it a little too.

I went over the sword with a glaze of flesh tearers red. I think it reads a bit more as red? But did I lose the effect?

That looks really nice - I think the glaze whilst making it very red also smoothed the transitions out a bit

I think I can call him done for now. Just need a new micro pen to make the scroll text

Ope, got distracted by an Anchorite

I put the Anchorite together, 

I think it looks OK. It's kind of sloppy but I guess to be expected for what it is. I didn't do a great job with the brazier flames though. 

I managed to basically make a removable pin to swap the arms for now.

Very rough WIP of some sacresants. Had the bad luck of some of the polearms snapping.

Well I mostly have them done. I guess I can do the scroll work later, I would rather do it with a fine Gundam pen or something.

Yeah, a micron pen is probably easier than a brush

I painted a palanite (?) which I'm kinda happy with. The elites in my army wear black and blue. The others do ivory and blue. 

 

I also tacked together a gravis apothecary for fun. I'd probably put a tabard/surgical apron on him with gear and some more medical kit stuff and a servoskull if I actually make him.

After finding a box of Persian warriors from WGA, they have a ton of heads. So I tried some on the terminators, they look pretty cool. Maybe a hair small.

I also painted a Barabas Dantioch mini. 

The actual mini is.... Honestly not great? But it painted up decently. My complaints were the stock pistol was a tiny useless thing, and some of the detail was a bit soft.

I've been working on some non-40k stuff but I did mess around a little with one of my older conversions.

Decided to paint up the free mini of the month as a Mentor Legion scout

Looks good.  You don't see many Mentors Legion, either ...

I thought it would be cool since it's a one off scout. Could still be in my army and not look that weird as compared to a different chapter And I always liked the idea of ML. Also I gave him a pavement base.

Oh, yes, I've been very busy for the last couple of weeks and haven't followed your progress. But it seems that the amazing rollercoaster ride of your hobby projects continues. I particularly like the updates on the Chapter Master (the way you painted the sword is very cool) and Sisters stuff.
