Looks like it would be multiple to me. Not sure how a few of these would go together thematically.

Yep, all daemons do. Even the named ones, only the princes don't cross over (other than Be'Lakor, of course)

was roughly 16 kits I believe. Mostly spread over the imminent releases of : Sisters of Battle 9th edition release wave, Cursed city and Vampire releases, Hedonites of Slaanesh release wave,   But also having the Ordo Malleus inquisitor (2), Beastsnagga orks (1) Kruleboyz (2) and Gaunts ghosts (2) wich all came a bit later I think ( the inquisitor a little over 1 year later even, but I think he was a character in a campaign before that, just not the miniature yet.)

When you look at rumor engines in general.. in every succesive row of 24 rumor engines, you come on similar amount of kits ( between 15 and 18) it represents. Its pure coincedence ofcourse and not planned as such.

 

In short.. it works as the usual rumor engines, except now you get more of them. Some might be of the same model, many wont be, even if they are from a select group of release waves, most will be revealed within 6 months, but some wont.

Thats why I said the last mixed one at the beginning of the post ;)

I mean we dont know for sure this one isnt for a single boxset like the eldritch omen one.. but we can assume it isnt. ( unless its Heretic burning Krieg vs Nurgle daemons or something like that. )

Apparently I missed that, apologies, my brains are mushier than standard imperial feed at the minute.

 

Interested to see what the reveal are from the advent engine. I wonder tomorrow what we'll see. I'm still hoping for a charnabal weapons pack.

I feel its safe to say that today's one is AoS/TOW related than 40k

I won't rule it out as 40k just yet, we've had plenty of dead set for one setting that have turned out to be for another setting

First thought is Skaven ( thus AoS ).. as for 40k I dont really see anyone using wood structures, maybe Cawdor... though at a quick glance none of them seem to be using wood ( where would wood even come from in necromunda ?)

 

Maybe emperors children ? .... :p

Afaik only some grip elements on bolters are wooden on death guard.

Ah now the previous rumor engine does make sense.. that one is a wooden toilet as viewed from above... this is the toilet roll holder... and the minefield thing is base decoration !

The occupant ofcourse is the nurgle rumor engine who is reading some light material in his time off... its all connected.

 

On a more serious note.. Codex Admech is just out, and with the edition being new I dont expect holdovers.

 

My guesses in order of likelyness :

 

-- We wont correctly guess what it is until we see it, and we never came close

-- Inquisition or Ecclesiarchy related

-- Admech gets a kill team.. "soon"

-- Solar Auxilia command squad

-- Mechanicum is the plastic HH release after all

-- Part of a suprise Imperial knights infantry specialists release... like the recent artworks

Its clearly and obviously creative freedom ( I think its the same artists that usually takes LOTS of creative liberties, but sometimes creates a better 40k vibe imho than the ranges do)

I can confirm the Chaosy ones are from the Chaos Knights Codex. Really nice DarkMech bits in that one as well.
