That, uh, that's a lot to take in. Wicked impressive work though. I wonder if it would be worth making a consolidated armory, then having two level of additional rules/alterations for each weapon. Each dataslate then specifies if it the models get those. Something like

 

Power Weapon

Str 5 3A AP2 D1

Master-Crafted: +1 Attack and +1 Damage

Relic: +3 Attack and +1 Damage

 

And then Captain would "Can take Relic items from the armory"

For this I was going for maximum granularity. I enjoy the subtle differences between a power sword/axe/maul. 
 

However, I will be using relic weapons for my Chapter Master datasheet, which will be D3/D4.

Funny, I've done something similiar recently:

 

Reiver Squad:

  • Squad size: 5-10 (4-9 + 1 Sergeant)
  • Squad Weapons: Bolt Carbine/Astartes Shotgun, Bolt Pistol, Chainsword

  • Squad Weapons: Heavy Bolter/Pyrecannon/Heavy Plasma Incinerators/Multi-Melta, Bolt Pistol, Close Combat Weapon
  • Sergeant Weapons: Heavy Bolter/Pyrecannon/Heavy Plasma Incinerators/Multi-Melta or Heavy Combi-Bolt Rifle (Combi-Flamer, etc.), Bolt/Plasma/Pyre/Inferno Pistol, Chainsword or Power Sword/Axe/Maul
  • Extra Gear: Grenades

Supressor Squad:

  • Squad size: 3 (2 + 1 Sergeant)
  • Squad and Sergeant Weapons: Accelerator Autocannon/Onslaught Gatling Cannon/Heavy Melta Rifle/ Hellstorm Heavy Bolter, Close Combat Weapon
  • Extra Gear: Smoke Launcher, Grenades

Added some extra guns, cause those guys could use some love.


Inceptor Squad:

  • Squad size: 3 (2 + 1 Sergeant)
  • Squad and Sergeant Weapons: Twin Assualt Bolters/Assualt Pyreblasters/Plasma Exterminators/Melta Exterminators, Close Combat Weapon
  • Squad Special Weapons Options (X Special Weapon per X Squad Members including Sergeant):

Assualt Pyreblaster is pretty much pistol sized Heavy Flamer, while Melta Exterminator is pistol sized Multi-Melta. Might as well round up Inceptor weapon options.

Bladeguard Veteran Squad:

  • Squad size: 3-5 (2-4 + 1 Sergeant)
  • Squad Weapons: Storm Shield, Chainsword or Power Sword/Axe/Maul/Fist/Lightning Claw, Bolt Pistol
  • Squad Special Pistol Options (1 Special Pistol per 2 Squad Members including Sergeant): Plasma Pistol Pistol, Pyre Pistol, Inferno Pistol
  • Sergeant Weapons: Bolt/Plasma/Pyre/Inferno/Neo-Volkite Pistol, Chainsword or Power Sword/Axe/Maul/Fist/Lightning Claw, Storm Shield
  • Any Squad Member including Sergeant can Exchange Melee Weapon and Storm Shield for Thunder Hammer/Power Greatsword/Power Greataxe/Power Lance/Eviscerator/Twin Lightning Claws
  • Extra Gear: Grenades


Eliminators are fine as they are.

Sternguard Veteran are fine as they are.

 

And I'm still working on Agressors.
